You may not know much about angels, but angels know a lot about you.
Remember the day you decided that doing-it-my-way wasn’t working and decided to do-it-his-way? You caused something to happen in heaven that day: “There is rejoicing among the angels of God over one sinner whose heart is changed” (Lk 15:10 PHILLIPS).
Remember the day you confessed Jesus as God’s Son and your Savior? You caused something to happen in heaven that day: “Whoever publicly acknowledges me before others, the Son of Man will also acknowledge before the angels of God” (Lk 12:8).
When you arrive, there won’t be a heavenly skycap holding a sign with your name on it. You’ll be greeted by those who already know you. Jesus has told the angels about you. They’ll recognize you.
The angels know your name and your look.
