You don’t have to live in the dark. Power is available to light up your life.
Paul writes of the awesome power you have, which may have escaped your attention. He prays “that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know . . . [God’s] incomparably great power for us who believe.” Hold onto your hat! “That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead” (Eph 1:18–20).
Pause and let that sink in.
That is the power that’s available to you.
You have accessible power to control your attitudes, overcome your temptations, defeat your weaknesses, and the power to enhance your strengths, commitments, and abilities—the power to win over whatever comes your way.
God’s incomparable power is yours to use.
