In his book One Hundred Percent American, Daniel Weiss says:
1% of Americans read the Bible once a day.
84% of Americans believe heaven exists.
94% of American men would change something about their looks if they could.
99% of American women would change something about their looks if they could.
The percentage of those who face temptation is not in Weiss’s book, but God’s Book says, “No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to everyone” (1 Cor 10:13)—100%.
The verse goes on to promise that God “will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it”—100%.
Some people are more vulnerable than others, and some temptations are more persistent than others.
