Whoever walks in integrity walks securely.
—Proverbs 10:9
Joseph had character. Whether supervising workers, handling large amounts of money, or overseeing the house of temptress Mrs. Potiphar, Joseph could be trusted.
Daniel had character. Jealous co-administrators “tried to find grounds for charges against him in his conduct of government affairs, but they were unable to do so. They could find no corruption in him” (Dn 6:4). Daniel could be trusted.
Solomon wrote: “Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out.” Joseph and Daniel possessed unimpeachable character. They had no fear of being “found out.”
Someone advised that you should answer three questions when you mark your ballot: 1) Is he honest? 2) Is he capable? 3) Is he faithful to the Constitution?
Character!
If you have integrity you have nothing to fear
for you have nothing to hide.
