We live by faith, not by sight.
—2 Corinthians 5:7
Chronic complainers seem to think they could run the world better than God.
Living in this chaotic rat race, we must constantly remind ourselves that God is sovereign—creator and controller of the universe.
From a limited human perspective, it sometimes seems that God is mismanaging things. But we don’t know what he knows or see what he sees.
If he pulled back the curtain and revealed the future, we would see much more than we presently do. But he designed us to live by faith, not by sight.
Without faith, one has no backup, nothing to lean on and depend on. The person of faith has a huge advantage, for the eye of faith has a clarity of vision unavailable to myopic earthbound perception.
By faith let your weight down
on what you cannot see.
