Offer your bodies as a living sacrifice.
—Romans 12:1
Mark Twain said, “The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.”
Why are you here? What is the purpose of your life?
On April 14, 2004, Marine Corporal Jason Dunham dived on a grenade that was lobbed into his squadron near the Syrian border in western Iraq. Dunham died shielding his comrades from the explosion.
If someone sacrificed their life to save yours, you might ask, “Why me? Why am I here?”
Someone did die for you: “When [you] were unable to help [yourself], at the moment of [your] need, Christ died for [you]” (Rom 5:6 NCV).
Again: “The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.”
When you find your “why,”
don’t hit the snooze button.
