Christ is all and in all.
—Colossians 3:11
The Bible says, “Christ is everything and everywhere.”
Where, you ask, are those words found in scripture? They are found in Dr. Moffatt’s translation of Colossians 3:11—in most versions, “Christ is all and in all.”
Jesus said, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End” (Rv 22:13). Paul summarizes: “Christ is everything and everywhere.”
If worst comes to worst, and you lose everything, you will still have everything if you have Christ. And if best comes to best, and you have Christ, you will have everything plus everything.
We learned this song Sunday School:
He is my everything, He is my all.
He is my everything, both great and small.
He gave His life for me, made everything new.
He is my everything, now how about you?
Since Jesus is everything and everywhere,
everything will be well with you everywhere.
