Your will be done.

I haven’t been adventurous enough to try an omakase restaurant. Omakase is a Japanese term that means “I leave it up to you.” So when a diner opts for omakase, they leave it up to the chef to select and prepare their meal.
When Jesus taught his disciples how to pray, he told them to ask for their daily bread, the forgiveness of their sins, and deliverance from temptation—and to say to the Father, “Your will be done.” (Mt 6:9–13).
I lay my needs and wants before God in prayer. But uncertain if my desires are in harmony with God’s will—and feeling that he may have something different in store of which I am unaware—I should sometimes say, “Omakase”—“I leave it up to you.”
Surrender your wishes to His will.
