We are God’s workmanship.
—Ephesians 2:10
God has a customized path for your life.
First, is his determination to make you like Jesus (Rom 8:29).
Second, like Jesus, you take ownership of why you’re here: Jesus was here, not to do his will but to do the will of him who sent him (Jn 6:38). God has a specific role for you—one that he fashioned before you were born (Eph 2:10; Jer 1:5).
Third, God has begun a good work in you, and he won’t stop until it’s finished (Phil 1:6).
The New Living Translation sums it up nicely: you are “God’s masterpiece” (Eph 2:10).
Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Thou art the Potter; I am the clay.
Mold me and make me after Thy will,
While I am waiting, yielded and still.

giving you the tools to fulfill it.
