Approach the throne
of grace with boldness.
—Hebrews 4:16
Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem for the last time, where he would be mocked, insulted, spit on, flogged, and killed. If that were you, would you have any interest in someone else’s problem?
Suddenly, a blind beggar shouted, “Jesus, have mercy on me!” Jesus’ companions told him to put a sock in it. But Jesus stopped, listened, and answered the beggar’s request.
He still does. He faced that Jerusalem ordeal so he could help you. At this moment, he is in heaven interceding for you (Heb 7:25). When you call out to him, he hears and helps. “Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need” (Heb 4:16).
Whatever concerns you concerns him.
Keep talking to him about it.
