Comparatively, time spent nurturing spiritual life isn’t even in the hunt.
It’s naïve to think we’re not influenced by the voices and images that invade our space.
Jesus once took Peter to task, saying, “[Y]ou do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men” (Mt 16:23). Always a danger.
