Father,
Your eyes scan the whole world to give strength to those whose hearts are committed to you (2 Chron. 16:9).
I come to you today, laying claim to the strength you give and the promises you make because I trust in your unfailing love (Ps. 13:5).
I cast my cares on you because you promise to sustain me (Ps. 55:22).
I acknowledge you as my refuge and strength, my ever-present help in trouble (Ps. 46:1).
I find in you my source of strength and help (Isa. 41:10).
I will not be afraid because you are with me (Ps. 118:6).
I am kept in perfect peace because I trust in you (Isa. 26:3).
My help comes from you, the maker of heaven and earth (Ps. 121:2).

God’s help doesn’t come to those smart enough to
understand him, but to those humble enough to trust him.
