You remain the same, and
your years will never end.

No one has to tell you that we live in a changing world, because you’ve faced changes that are personal and painful—loss of health, fractured relationships, deaths of those you love.
But there’s another verse to that song … some things are dependable and changeless.
For instance, the sun has not varied its pattern of rising and setting since the day you were born; it’s something you can count on.
Or go outside tonight, stare at the stars, and think about this—your father and grandfather gazed at the same stars. So did Jesus. And Moses. And Abraham.
And then there is God your Father and Christ your Savior—changeless. “The same yesterday and today and forever” (Heb. 13:8). “From everlasting to everlasting” (Ps. 90:2).
Cope with the changing
by holding tight to the changeless.
