God Eliminates Obstacles

Who will roll away the stone from
the door of the tomb for us?
             —Mark 16:3

Early Sunday morning, as the women made their way to the tomb to anoint the body of their crucified Lord, they realized they had a problem: an enormous stone, tall as they were, blocked the tomb’s entrance. Looking at each other, they asked, “Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?” But when they arrived, they saw that the stone had already been removed.

That’s often how it happens. We face a seemingly insurmountable obstacle. From a human perspective, our apprehension is understandable. Yet, when we arrive at the place where we had feared failure, we sometimes find that the problem no longer exists.

When you’re at the end of your rope, remember that God is good at remedying the irremediable.

Don’t give up on God.
