Remember Who You Are

You are [God’s] child; and since you are his child,
God has made you also an heir.
                 —Galatians 4:7

Do you sometimes get down in the dumps? Feel helpless to meet life’s challenges?

“Remember who you are.” That’s what my friend’s father said to him every morning when he walked out the front door.

Today, may I remind you of who you are?

• You are God’s beloved child (Romans 8:16; 1 John 3:1).
• You have been saved by God’s grace, through faith” (Ephesians 2:8).
• You are God’s handiwork (Ephesians 2:10).
• You have been chosen by God (Ephesians 1:4, 11).
• You have direct access to God (Hebrews 4:16).
• You are an heir of God and a co-heir with Christ (Romans 8:17).

Remember who you are.

You are special.
