Cast all your anxiety on him

“How are you?” my friend asked.
“Good. Fantastic!” I said.
“Are you really?”
“Yes, why do you ask?”
“Because I don’t think you’d tell me even if you weren’t,” he said.
Maybe. But really, I feel great! Not because I’ve read a bunch of positive thinking books, although I have. But because of God.
God loves me. And because he does, he will do what’s best for me. I know that. I may not always understand—may even complain at times. But it’s wonderful to know that he’s calling the shots; that he is painting the big picture.
I like the way The Living Bible has 1 Peter 5:7 . . . “Let him have all your worries and cares, for he is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you.”
