Be Careful Who You Follow

Trust in the Lord with all your heart.
                       —Proverbs 3:5

A lady trapped in a blinding blizzard in Oregon’s Cascade Range was relieved when she saw a snowplow ahead of her. She inched along behind the big machine through twists and turns.

After a bit, the plow stopped. The driver crawled from the cab and came to her window. “Hi! Where ya goin’?” he asked.

“Portland,” she said.

“You’ll never get there following me,” he said. “I’m plowing this parking lot.”

Reminding us that we need to be careful who we follow.

That’s why the Good Book encourages us to put our total trust in God.

“Give yourself to the Lord; trust in him, and he will help you” (Ps 37:5 TEV).

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding” (Prv 3:5).

Trust him. His leadership is flawless.
