Seek the Lord while he may be found.
—Isaiah 55:6
If you described your life in one word, would that word be “busy”
You have a full plate, fish to fry, irons in the fire. You’re on the go, full throttle, up to your ears, overloaded, snowed, swamped.
Anything wrong with that?
There is if it means that time with God is being shoehorned into a few comatose minutes at the end of the day.
Encounter your God before you encounter your day. And seek his companionship and counsel in every decision throughout the day.
David was busy running a kingdom, but he said, “I seek you with all my heart” (Ps 119:10). And he told his son Solomon, “If you seek him, he will be found by you” (1 Chr 28:9).
God made the time you have.
Don’t cut him out of it.
