[We are] created in Christ Jesus to do good works,
which God prepared in advance for us to do.
—Ephesians 2:10
A common question asked in a job interview is, “What skill set do you bring that would contribute to the success of our company?”
Are you aware that you have the perfect set of skills required to accomplish what God wants you to do?
You have a history of experiences and the possession of talents that make you unique. The special gifts God has given you, along with a submissive spirit, give you the skill set to accomplish the “good works” that God prepared for you to do before time began.
Eugene Peterson paraphrased Ephesians 2:10 this way: “He creates each of us by Christ Jesus to join him in the work he does, the good work he has gotten ready for us to do.”
