Do not be conformed to this world,
but be transformed by the renewal of your mind.
—Romans 12:2
Question number three:
Is this something I should let go?
Some things are beyond your control, and you get mistreated and wounded. It’s not fair. It’s not your fault. But there it is.
It hurts your feelings; but it doesn’t keep you from being a good person.
Someone did you wrong; that’s their problem, not yours.
The question is: How long are you going to carry this baggage? Resentment will eat on you only as long as you let it. Let it go!
Marcus Aurelius said: “Just do the right thing; the rest doesn’t matter.” That’s it. Maintain your principles and values. Do the right thing—that’s the only thing you can control.
“God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control” (2 Tm 1:7).
Take hold of what you can control
and let go of what you can’t.
