I Believe Life is a Gift
I believe that life is a gift from God and that there is a God-designed reason I was born. “In him we live and move and have our being” (Acts 17:28).
I believe that God gives me the freedom to live this life as I choose, but that my status is stewardship, not ownership: my talents and abilities are gifts from him, and I am responsible for their cultivation and use.
I believe that I only get one earthly life; therefore, only one chance to thank him for this gift by using it to serve and glorify him by acting justly, loving mercy, and walking humbly (Mi 6:8).
I believe that I start breathing at the beginning of life and stop at the end—and that what I do in between measures how I value the gift.
Life is a gift.
