Important question: do you call the shots; or allow others to determine your priorities? When someone makes demands that control what you do and when and how you do it, they are running your life—you are living for their priorities, not yours.
The problem with caving in to the demands of others is that there is no “Off” switch—mark off an item on their list, and another takes its place.
Running from one crisis to the next looks less like serving the Messiah and more like trying to be one.
