Build each other up.
—1 Thessalonians 5:11
Some scriptures are incomplete until you breathe life into them. Here is a basket of four:
“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ” (Gal 6:2).
“Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs” (Eph 4:29).
“Encourage one another and build each other up” (1 Thes 5:11).
“Encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with everyone” (1 Thes 5:14).
These words just sit on the page until you act on them and make them come alive.
