Be kind and compassionate to one another.
—Ephesians 4:32
We’ve all known Christians whose résumé could read: Devoted. Loyal. Involved. Faithful. Moral. Unkind.
Paul said if we have mountain-moving faith but don’t have love, we are nothing. Nothing! That’s the ground on which the unkind person’s house is built.
Make your heavenly Father smile by being kind to his other children.
In King Lemuel’s tribute to the virtuous woman, he wrote, “She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue” (Prv 31:26).
In the words of Stephen Grellet: “I shall pass through this world but once. Any good, therefore, that I can do or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer it or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.”
Be kind today—all day.
