Now begin the work, and the Lord be with you.
—1 Chronicles 22:16
There’s something you need to do, right? Write that note? Begin that exercise regimen? Wrap up that project?
You intend to do it and have promised yourself that you will. But you haven’t.
Why?
Probably because you haven’t begun it.
You’ve cleaned your desk, charged your computer, run your errands. You’ve spent time and energy getting ready to do what you need to do.
But you haven’t done it because you haven’t begun it. You’ve put it off and pushed it back, and sooner than you imagined, the day was gone.
If you’re serious about doing it, there’s one thing you need to do—begin it.
You don’t have to be successful to start,
but you have to start to be successful.
