The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.
—Hebrews 13:6
Two things are essential to your success and happiness:
First, let go of the past.
Nothing you do can change it.
You may have been through some rough weather: divorce, failure, moral lapse, death of a loved one, a bad experience at church.
It’s difficult to bury the past, but that is what you must do before you can celebrate the present and happily anticipate the future.
Second, take the first step into the future.
Perhaps you know what you need to do, but you’re afraid—or reluctant—to do it.
Do it anyway.
The first step is the hardest. But God will provide a path if you trust him enough to take the first step.
Success is just a decision away.
You’ll never arrive if you never start.
