How well does your spouse know you? You’re not on the lam—but I bet there’s some act or thought that you’d prefer to remain unknown.
Jesus said of Nathanael, “Here is an Israelite in whom there is no deceit” (Jn 1:47). Nathanael asked, “How do you know me?” Jesus said, “I saw you while you were still under the fig tree.” The Lord knew everything about Nathanael. And he knows everything about you.
He knows your fears and faults. But he also knows your desire to be better—and gives you credit for that.
God knows all: the good, the bad,
and the desire to be better.
