Do not forget to do good.
—Hebrews 13:16
If you were to be described in five words, what would those five words be?
Here are the five that Peter used to picture Jesus: “He went about doing good” (Acts 10:38).
Declared beliefs are suspect unless verified by action. Knowing the playbook is useless unless you take care of business in the heat of the game.
“She is so thoughtful” describes the person who does the right thing at the right time in the right way.
The operative word is “thoughtful.” She thinks about what needs to be done; then does it.
Those who deliver the greatest blessings aren’t necessarily those who have the most spectacular abilities or richest resources, but those who think of a good thing to do. Then do it.
Talk is cheap. Practice is priceless.
