I am Your unique creation,
filled with wonder and awe.
—Psalm 139:14
I’ve read that the universe has 350-billion galaxies, home to 30-billion-trillion stars and that our solar system is thirty-six billion times larger than earth.
I can’t vouch for the accuracy of those numbers—but our earth is certainly just a speck in the universe.
That—and knowing that you are just one person among 7.7 billion on earth—may make you feel small and unimportant.
But guess what? God knows everything about you, and you’re always on his mind. Psalm 139 says that he knows when you sit and when you stand. He knows what you think before you think it, what you say before you say it, and what you do before you do it.
God considers you so special that he created you in his own image—and so important that he sent his Son to this tiny planet to die for you.
What God knows about you is more
important than what people think about you.
