Do not fear; I will help you.
—Isaiah 41:13
You don’t know what you will face in the next twelve months, but whatever it is, you won’t have to face it alone. You can let your weight down on that because of a promise and because of who made it.
Who made the promise? God. And what is the promise? “I will never leave you; I will never abandon you” (Heb 13:5).
When you say, “I’m not strong enough to handle this,” your omnipotent [all-powerful] Father will say, “I will never leave you; I will never abandon you.”
When you say, “I’m afraid,” your omnipresent [always-and-everywhere-present] Father will say, “I will never leave you; I will never abandon you.”
When you say, “I don’t know what to do,” your omniscient [all-knowing] Father will say, “I will never leave you; I will never abandon you.”
Human promises sometimes fall short.
God’s never do.
