Who despises the day of small things?
—Zechariah 4:10
Are you doing big, bold, headline-grabbing things? Maybe not. But you’re doing small, subtle, kindhearted things that make your corner of the world better.
Think what you do is unimportant? It isn’t. What you consider of little weight may tip the scale as the most meaningful thing you do today . . .
The affirmation of a family member or friend.
The note of encouragement that you post.
The phone call that you make on impulse.
You may write the day off as insignificant.
But God may write it up as superbly successful, because someone was blessed—and you were the one he used to deliver the blessing.
Little things lovingly done bring big blessings.
