Each will receive his praise from God.
—1 Corinthians 4:5
Our talents and possessions are gifts of God’s grace: “Isn’t everything you have and everything you are sheer gifts from God?” (1 Cor. 4:7 MSG).
Our individuality is a gift of God’s grace: “[By] the grace of God I am what I am” (1 Cor. 15:10).
Our future is a gift of God’s grace: “You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory” (Ps. 73:24); “[T]his is what he promised us—even eternal life” (1 Jn. 2:25).
Only a few receive recognition in this life, but all are candidates for the Father’s curtain call applause. When earth is done and heaven begun, “each will receive recognition from God” (1 Cor. 4:5 NET).
Your plaque is engraved: “Well done, good and faithful servant!”
