Utterly meaningless!
Everything is meaningless.
—Ecclesiastes 1:2
Solomon isn’t the only one who found life meaningless. Many are stranded in a life in which they find no pleasure or purpose.
Take the gal that dropped out of high school and has been stuck in a minimum-wage dead-end job ever since. Or the doctor who spent years of exhausting study getting a high-priced education, only to wake up one day to the realization that he and his chosen profession are a mismatch.
There comes an “aha” moment when it dawns on us that we can’t live meaningfully on prestige, position, and possessions alone; there is a something-is-missing void that needs to be filled.
This is the only life you’re going to get in this world, so you need to give it your best shot.
It’s not too late to change, but you’d better hustle.
Your life isn’t a dress rehearsal.
This is the real deal.
