This year instead of grabbing your remote and starting your days with negative news, talk to your Father and start your days with positive prospects.
In the morning, O Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation (Ps. 5:3).
When you were a child, your father was able to reach things you couldn’t because he was taller than you; was able to lift things you couldn’t because he was stronger than you; was able do things you couldn’t because he was more experienced than you.
You thought your father could do anything. He couldn’t. But your Father can.
Your father had limitations. But your Father doesn’t.
As his child you participate;
as your Father he does the heavy lifting.
