Never will I leave you;
never will I forsake you.
—Hebrews 13:5
“No one is concerned for me … no one cares” (Ps. 142.4).
Many feel that way. Maybe you.
But it isn’t true. God is concerned. God cares.
The measure of God’s love is that he loves without measure. His love is “too wonderful to be measured” (Eph. 3:19 CEV).
Earthly relationships are often unpredictable. Heavenly ones aren’t.
Your spouse may abandon you. Your child may neglect you. Your friends may fail you. But your Father won’t forget you—
“I will be your God through all your lifetime, yes, even when your hair is white with age. I made you and I will care for you” (Isa. 46:4 TLB).
People come and go.
God comes, but never goes.
