Do not boast about tomorrow,
for you do not know what a day may bring forth.
—Proverbs 27:1
There is something you ought to do that you’ve been putting off, right? A letter you ought to write? An apology you ought to make? A habit you ought to break? An attitude you ought to change?
It is something you’ve thought about doing, intended to do, promised to do—so why haven’t you done it?
Simple. You haven’t done it because you haven’t begun it. You rarely get around to doing what you delay. You put it on the back burner and before you know it the day, the week, the month, the year is gone and it remains undone.
Today refuse to accept any excuse for not doing it. Just do it.
You never finish what you never start.
