Be strong and take heart.
—Psalm 31:24
We are perplexed because we don’t know why things happen as they do, but we don’t give up and quit … We get knocked down, but we get up again and keep going … we never give up (2 Cor. 4:8-9, 16 TLB).
Seeing the big picture—as only he can—God decides when to send answers to your prayers, and when to delay them. Be grateful when he sends them; wait patiently when he delays them.
It pleases us when he sends quick answers; it pleases him when we trust him without quick answers. It is human to want to see before believing; it is Spirit-led to believe before seeing. “Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed” (Jno. 20:29).
He who knows what is best will send
the best answer at the best time.
