Let me know how fleeting is my life.
—Psalm 39:4
Would a review of your schedule reveal chunks of time that could be better used? Americans, on average, spend four hours a day watching TV—half as much time as they spend at their job. That’s dropping a whopping 20 to 30 hours a week into a black hole.
Have a hard look at your To-Do list. How many of those entries really deserve high priority? And is it a priority you have reached in consultation with God, or are you letting someone else dictate your schedule? Are you wrung out because you haven’t learned how to say “no” to some of the unjustified demands for your time?
Time is the currency of life.
Spend it wisely.
